I hate when I want to watch somebody tear apart some shitty book on Youtube and they're giving all these disclaimers like "I understand that this may be somebody's kink and that just because somebody likes this book, doesn't mean they want this to happen to them in real life" ...ok ok I Do Not Care! just give me all the juicy details about how shit and unhinged this book is so we can laugh at it!!!

#I saw a post on my dash yesterday that was like... the exact opposite of this sentiment lol #but I stand by this!#if we can't make fun of cringy kinks or abusive alpha-male romance ��heroes” then how do you expect us to have any fun?#also see: my long-ago post re: how many of these people kick up a fuss whenever a character is a virgin in a romance novel...#like PLEASE chill about that. virgins exist (shocking I know) and there is nothing weird about that #I just wanna watch you mock some terrible old bodice-ripper without getting lectured about how it's not progressive enough to #enjoy reading or writing characters who are virgins before meeting their True Love #idc if I am contradicting myself! *I* decide what is worthy of mockery!#my original post
